About The Event

Join our birding guides for this field trip at the C-44 Stormwater Treatment Area (STA) wetlands in western Martin County. Please RSVP/Register here. Arrive 15 minutes before the start time. **Location: C-44 STA Main Gate -- approximately 2 miles east of SR 710 on SW Citrus Boulevard. ***We are planning on having both photographers and bird watchers at the event. Volunteers will take birders on guided tours if preferred -- while photographers will once again be given open access. One may view dozens of bird species, including: snail kites, a variety of herons, egrets, ducks, roseate spoonbills, wood storks, migratory shorebirds and more. Bring: binoculars, spotting scopes, cameras, water, and sunscreen.
