You're Invited: Birding at STA C-44

Join us for an afternoon of birding at STA C-44, one of South Florida’s premier spots for waterbirds and migratory species. This restored wetland offers excellent opportunities to observe a variety of waders, shorebirds, raptors, and more in their natural habitat.


Coming from Palm City, take the Old Martin Highway to Citrus Blvd. 

Turn left onto Citrus Blvd so that you will be heading south. Simply stay on this road. Citrus Blvd will eventually turn to the west and it will take you to Indiantown High School. 


Only about 200 yards past Indiantown High School, the entrance to the C-44 STA will be on the right. There should be several cars at the gate, so it will be hard to miss. If you go past the small airfield, then you have gone too far and you need to turn around and go back to the…
