About The Event
Audubon of Martin County together with the South Florida Water Management District is proud to announce the opening of the C-44 Reservoir & STA (Stormwater Treatment Area) for public environmental and birding tours.
The C-44 Reservoir & STA is over 6,000 acres in size.
Audubon of Martin County is hosting the first of these tours on Saturday, June 15th. Tour sizes are limited in size to lessen the environmental impact to this area.
Additional tours will be offered monthly beginning in July, so please see our calendar under the Happenings tab for additional times and dates. Best of all, you don't need to be a member of Audubon to enjoy this great facility. We encourage you to invite friends and family to our birding and photography tours of the C-44 Reservoir & STA!
