About The Event

Join field trip leader Brian Garett, a SFWMD wildlife biologist, for our guided birding tour of the C-44 Stormwater Treatment Area (STA) wetlands. Birders may view dozens of bird species, including: snail kites, a variety of herons, egrets, ducks, roseate spoonbills, wood storks, migratory shorebirds and more. Bring: binoculars, spotting scopes, cameras, water, and sunscreen. Please RSVP/Register here. Arrive 15 minutes before the 8:00 AM start time. Location: C-44 STA Main Gate -- approximately 2 miles east of SR 710 on SW Citrus Boulevard.
