About The Event
What better way to kick off the New Year than by taking a nature walk through Jonathan Dickinson State Park! The First Day Hike is part of America's State Parks national program to help people enjoy the outdoors with free, guided nature walks. There are two "First Day" hikes at Jonathan Dickinson State Park today: at 9 a.m. & 11 a.m.
- The 9 a.m. hike meets up at the Ranger Station -- it's a 5-mile hike, intermediate level.
- The 11 a.m. hike will be meeting at the Visitor Center, River Trail -- it's a 1-mile hike, for all skill levels.
