About The Event

Join us and Martin County Ecosystems Restoration Management as we discover how to create better Habitat for our wildlife and the planet! No one likes to live in a dirty environment.... continue to help the organisms that call the Indian River Lagoon their home by putting together natural nutrient entrapments. These floating mats of aquatic plants will be made by you - to be released out onto the IRL to mitigate the effects of nutrient runoff and act as a cleaning agent so that birds like the osprey, heron, and pelican can thrive in the place they were designed for!

*Snacks Provided*

Please come with plenty of water (preferably in a resuable container) & sunscreen!

Wear closed toe shoes and clothing you don't mind getting sweaty in.
