Birding Photography Tour - Lakeside STA

This birding photo tour offers everyone an opportunity to see and photograph dozens of species of birds in an environment unique to this area. Lakeside STA is managed by the South Florida Water Management District, public access is managed by Audubon of Martin County. Covid safety guidelines will be observed: socially distanced -- at least 6 feet apart, wear masks when with others outside of your pod, i.e., individuals from different households.

DIRECTIONS: From I-95, take Route 714 west, turn right on Route 710, go 1/4 mile and turn left turn on Route 15B. Follow until you reach 98 and make a left, drive for approximately 2.4 miles.  The new Lakeside Ranch STA entrance is on your left.

WHAT TO BRING: Binoculars, camera, spotting scopes, sun block, reference books, water and snacks, insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunglasses and protective wear.
