About The Event

Conservationist Jim Howe will be conducting a special tour in Jonathan Dickinson State Park highlighting the avian residents such as the Bald Eagle and Scrub Jay. Jim will espouse upon the uniqueness of the Florida scrub ecosystem itself, how fire is essential, pointing out gopher tortoise burrows, and unique plants found only in the park.

WHAT TO BRING: Binoculars, sun block, water, camera, insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunglasses.
